Doctors and staff of our clinic volunteered their time in a vaccination program organized by Malaysia Medical Relief Society for Myanmar Rohingya refugees in Malaysia. These refugees have poor access to healthcare, education and social services. Many of the children have not had any vaccination prior to this.
Our doctor and staff checked and vaccinated over 90 babies and children during this half day event held in Selayang. Vaccinations given for free included mumps, measles, rubella, hepatitis B, diptheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccines. Vitamins and deworming medicines was also prescribed.
